The Hinge Centre in Bridlington is a satellite project of its main charity in Goole and is based within the Havenfield Council estate which has 560 properties and approximately 4,000 residents.
The Bridlington centre was set up in response to requests from within the second largest council estate within the town through community consultation as a means to address the high levels of deprivation, employment, basic life skills and education in order to improve and establish a community facility, increase community cohesion and improve the quality of lives of its residents.
Although our primary objects for our centre in Goole are focused around young people the centre in Bridlington has a much broader remit and provides support to anyone who finds themselves in crisis or with issues they are unable to deal with due to isolation and exclusion from main stream statutory service provision.
